This event is one where Springfield gets competitive!! In the first semester, we gather on Old Main lawn for some friendly competition between houses. Upon entering Springfield, members are sorted into houses based on a rotation system and survey. The four houses - Ares, Athena, Hermes, and Artemis - are coordinated by Demigods that are selected each year. The houses are a great way to become more involved because they host smaller events that help members get to know each other and form relationships that transcend class and/or major. Learn more about the houses here!
During SpringFIELD day, members come decked out in a color that represents your house. We participate in games such as Tug-of-War and smaller silly games like moving a cookie down your face without touching it! Each game counts towards the total points that are tallied throughout the year. It’s a fun way to be active, goof off with fellow members, show allegiance for your house, and get competitive!
