What year are you?
Where are you from?
How did you end up here at Penn State?
I wanted a huge school with tons of spirit, and as soon as I visited, I knew Penn State was the perfect fit for me.
What is your Major? Minor? Why?
I am a Communication Sciences and Disorders major with a Human Development and Family Studies Minor! In non-university terms, I want to eventually end up in a hospital as a Speech Language Pathologist while concentrating on younger children.
What’s a fun fact about you?
If I have a class in a large lecture hall like Thomas or Forum, I'll take funny pictures of myself and airdrop send them to whoever has their airdrop on in the class and watch their reaction.
Where do you hope to see yourself ten years from now?
I hope to be ballin and thriving with my family and a dope cat. I really will know my success once I own a large trampoline where all the neighborhood kids go to play.
How did you end up joining Springfield?
I met a friend at NSO that I was supposed to get dinner with the night of the first Springfield meeting of the year. I invited a few other friends to dinner and as we were eating, two different THON organizations were brought up. We all couldn't decide which to join so we split up. Half went to one and half went to the other. Luckily, I was in the Springfield group. We went to the meeting and were half confused the entire time at all the meme usage but also half dying of laughter because of all the meme usage. Everyone who came to dinner came back to my dorm room and we traded thoughts (this sounds super serious but literally no). The other group was not satisfied and really discouraged. My group couldn't stop talking about how much we loved the environment, the people, and the vibe of the Springfield meeting. The next week, the entire group joined us for the second Springfield meeting..and none of us have missed a meeting after that.
What is your favorite thing about Springfield?
The energy. Other groups on campus share the exact same mission as Springfield but just don't have the motivation and energy. When things need to get done, they are done. But the cool thing is that it never feels like work or a club. It just feels like I'm hanging out with my closest friends while working towards THON's mission.
If you could describe Springfield in one word, what would it be?
