Be a Mentor
Our Alumni Mentoring Network is part of what makes Springfield’s family so unique! Some of our wonderful alumni have signed up to act as a mentor for current Springfielders. We have mentors in everything from the PhD programs to nonprofit work to the workforce and everything in between! Staying Involved: The Springfield Alumni Interest Group (AIG)
As Springfield alumni, you can still have a profound impact in the fight against pediatric cancer. The Springfield Alumni Interest Group (AIG) is an official organization dedicated to providing resources for Springfield alumni to connect with one another, Springfield, and the larger Penn State and THON communities. The Springfield AIG falls within the larger Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group (DMAIG), but it operates independently. Its goal is to expand the reach of Springfield's three pillars of family, fundraising, and team unity to ensure that they remain strong even after graduation.
Delia Carr (President), Ryan Williams (Vice President), and several Regional Directors oversee the operations of the Springfield AIG, working in collaboration with Springfield's Executive Board. The AIG Executive Board extends the fundraising and alumni relations aspects of the student organization by taking on and supporting various projects throughout the year.
